The existing site was anything but easy on the eyes. It was hard to focus on content and confusing for the user when navigating through each page. The client came to us for a more modern take on design and development that would create a seamless, interactive user experience.
Creating a clear path for the user to follow was the first priority and ultimately drove the design for the new site. Once the interface was re-envisioned, we optimized for larger screen resolutions and mobile devices, allowing content to feel open and inviting. The all-new site map came with simple self-management tools for content, making it easy for Lake Ontario Wine Trail staff to update upcoming events, featured offers and more. We also integrated Google Maps to create a fun interactive trail map for planning itineraries and giving the user even more reason to get in touch with their inner adventurer.
