Waiting for the Walk

We are pleased to announce that Barktoberfest was a success on multiple fronts.  Not only were we able to relax and enjoy an incredible walk with the Sharp Notions team, their families and their four-legged friends, but we are proud to announce that we were able to contribute over $1,000 to help animals in need of assistance in the Rochester area.

The folks at Lollypop Farm did an incredible job again this year organizing and running an event which benefits so many members (furry and otherwise) of the Rochester community.  The gloomy weather did little to dampen the spirits of everyone at the event and it was apparent that a good time was had by all.

The 1.5 mile hike brought us around the trails behind Lollypop Farm and by several of the larger animals’ homes, much to the delight of the youngest members of our walking team.  Afterwards we enjoyed the live music, exhibitions and carnival atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful event, either by contributing directly or by liking the Sharp Notions Facebook page, for your support.   We had a great time and are looking forward to continuing and expanding the tradition in the years to come.
