Who We Are

Sharp Notions is a

small software development and design company based in Rochester, NY

. We specialize in delivering smart ideas and sharp solutions for your website

development, online marketing and SEO, flash applications, desktop clients, mobile applications, graphic design, or print marketing

needs.

History

Sharp Notions was originally founded as Delineated Designs in 2003 by a group of upperclassmen from Rochester Institute of Technology to bid and work on professional .NET projects. The company got off to a slow start, but persisted until only one of the original founders remained.

In an effort to start fresh, and to simplify the domain name, the company was renamed to Sharp Notions in 2005. Other than the name, not much changed at this time; we were still a small company that focused on .NET projects.

In 2010, Sharp Notions underwent another change by adding two additional owners. As part of this change, Sharp Notions also began to broaden our technology focus.

Community

The owners of Sharp Notions have a strong belief in giving back to the community. With this in mind, we have committed to donating a portion of our annual profits to our favorite community organizations. Sharp Notions is also committed to donating a website annually to non-profit organizations. Please contact us if your organization is interested in working with us on such an endeavor.
